Elijah’s Rat

My grandson Elijah inspired our PhotoWearTM apparel when he was born 2 1/2 years ago. We only sold photographs of Brooklyn at the time but when he was born, we put one of the photos on a tiny t-shirt for him and people loved it. Soon we had 15 retailers clamoring for our kid’s Brooklyn photo tees.

Since the, he has never really asked for a shirt until he saw the Union Rat in my contact sheets. He got so excited, especially about the tiny truck the rat was sitting on.

We made the kid’s tees for the Annex Market in Cobble Hill where we sell on Saturdays and not only was it a big hit with kids, the adults loved them! Suddenly the “Rat” is our top seller.
